MTEXTIFY Text Recovery — an AutoCAD plugin (commands MTEXTIFY / MX)

1. What data we collect
None. MTEXTIFY Text Recovery does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, drawing content, or usage data. It has no analytics or telemetry, requires no account, and makes no network connections.
2. How the plugin works on your computer
When you run the MTEXTIFY command, the plugin saves an image of the area you select to your Windows temporary folder, reads it with the Tesseract OCR engine bundled inside the plugin, and inserts the recovered text into your drawing. All processing happens locally on your computer. The temporary image and text files are deleted when the command finishes. (If you turn on the optional debug mode, the OCR text files are kept in your temporary folder until you delete them.)
3. Third parties
The plugin sends no data to any third party. The bundled Tesseract OCR engine runs locally and transmits nothing. Downloads and purchases through the Autodesk Marketplace are handled by Autodesk, and payments by PayPal, under their own privacy policies. If Autodesk shares purchase or download information with us as the publisher, we use it only to fulfill your purchase and provide support, protect it with the same care described in this policy, and never sell it.
4. Data retention and deletion
The plugin retains nothing: its temporary files are deleted at the end of each run. Any purchase information we receive through the Autodesk Marketplace is kept only as long as needed for support, accounting, and legal obligations.
5. Your choices
Because the plugin collects no data, there is no data-collection consent to revoke. You can remove the plugin at any time by uninstalling it. To ask about or request deletion of any purchase information we may have received through the Autodesk Marketplace, contact us through www.blueorbit.info.
6. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
